Ahhh....Home Sweet Assembly Hall

Last night was the first home IU basketball game of the season. It was an exhibition game against a small NAIA school called Grace, and MAN did it feel great to be back in Assembly Hall! Karl and I have "grown-up" season tickets this year (as opposed to student season tickets), and it was great to finally see the two seats we will sit in for the rest of the season. :) We're in Section F of the "Main" section...much better than the balcony.

I always get a special feeling when I walk into Assembly Hall - a bit of the butterflies in my stomach, I walk just a little quicker, and it's hard to wipe the smile off my face. I said it before and I'll say it again: it sure felt great to be back in Assembly Hall last night. The only strange part of it was that we really don't know who most of the players are this year. We quickly learned some of the names and I have a feeling we have some early "favorites" for the season.

I took some photos on our good camera but haven't uploaded them yet. For now, here's a picture I took with my cell phone:

One home game down, 18 more to go! :)
