Erik & Erin's Visit - Day Two

Greetings! Today we ventured to the other side of the bay to San Francisco and spent about five hours walking allllll over the city! It was a lot of fun and Karl and I were able to experience some new things in SF, such as visiting the Museum of Modern Art, where we all spent about a half an hour inside the gift shop marveling at all of the unique home items, jewelry, books, etc. We also got some yummy clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Boudin's, had a photo shoot on Lombard Street as the sun was setting, and walked the streets of San Francisco at night, which was a really pleasant and new experience. We topped off the evening with Zachary's Pizza when we got home, and talked for hours about everything from ghosts to neighbors to trips to Taiwan. It was another wonderful day and we're sad that tomorrow will be our last day to spend with Erik and Erin before they leave. We're going to take in all that we can in Napa and Sonoma though, so I'm sure I'll have more to report on tomorrow!

In the meantime, here are some photos from today's adventures (note - just click on any of these to see a larger version):

Erin, Karl, and Erik on the street after our trip to the Museum of Modern Art gift shop.

Erik and me checking out some kitschy stuff in Chinatown.

Karl chowing down on the chowdaaaaa.

Erik and Erin climbing the steps of Lombard Street.

It took three tries, but we finally got a good pic of the four of us using the self-timer!
