This past weekend my friend Andrea from Seattle came to the Bay Area for a last-minute visit before we move! We had a few communication issues regarding the visit (miscommunication...I didn't realize she was coming until a week before the visit! And she booked it over a month ago! haha) but it all worked out great. We spent Friday afternoon in Berkeley exploring the
Cal campus, went up on a big hill above the campus to watch the sun set over the Bay, and finished off with a yummy dinner and a few brews at
Jupiter in Berkeley. On Saturday we visited three wineries:
Hess,
St. Supery, and
BV. They were all excellent and the weather was amaaaaazing! We also had time to enjoy a nice little picnic in between the wineries. Finally on Sunday we took the BART to San Francisco and walked around the city all day, taking in all of the tourist hot spots such as Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street, and Coit Tower. I took a bajillion pictures, which can be seen on my Snapfish album

looks like you gusy had a really great time! and you have SO many great shots in this round of photos, nice!! :) we're still trying to track down hess wine here...mmmmm! :) hope your packing is going well! i'll write you soon. :)
